株式会社Yogibo（代表取締役会長 木村誠司）がタイトルパートナーをつとめる、公益社団法人日本女子プロサッカーリーグの開幕戦会場であるノエビアスタジアム神戸（神戸市兵庫区）に2021年9月に導入された「センサリールーム」。株式会社L&B（代表取締役社長 七種珠水）がデザイン設計を担当いたしました。
The “Sensory Room” was installed in September 2021 at NOEVIR STADIUM KOBE (Hyogo-ku, Kobe City), the venue for the opening match of the Japan Women’s Professional Football League, of which Yogibo Inc.(CXO: Seiji Kimura) is the title partner. L&B Co., Ltd. (CEO: Tamami Saikusa) was in charge of the design.
センサリールームとは、大きな音や強い光などを過敏に感じてしまう人が落ち着いて過ごすことのできる部屋のことです。これまであった日本のセンサリールームは、寒々しく、ただ隔離された空間であったのに対し、「コクーン（繭）」をコンセプトに飽きることなく観戦や空間を体験できる場所をデザインしました。
今回、スタジアムの4Fフロアの42平米ほどのスペースを利用し、聴覚・視覚など感覚過敏の症状がある人やその家族が安心して過ごせるお部屋を提案しています。
A sensory room is a room where people who are hypersensitive to loud noises or bright light can relax. Until now, sensory rooms in Japan have been cold and isolated spaces, but this one was designed around the concept of a “cocoon” to allow people to experience the experience of watching the game and the space without getting bored.
Using a space of around 42 square metres on the fourth floor of the stadium, we have proposed a room where people with sensory hypersensitivity, such as hearing or vision, and their families can relax in peace.

「母親のお腹にいるような安心感を、空間全体で表現したかったんです。手に触れる素材はすべて柔らかく、床には心地よい人工芝生を敷き、什器は丸みを帯びた形状にしました。色彩も優しく、ワクワクするようなパステルカラーを選定しています。動物の顔が描かれたYogibo Mateは、子供たちに良い刺激を与え、抱きしめたくなるような存在感を持たせています。」
What was the theme or key point you focused on in designing this space?

“We wanted the entire space to convey the same sense of security as being in one’s mother’s womb. All the materials are soft to the touch, the floor is covered in comfortable artificial turf, and the fixtures are rounded. We also selected gentle, exciting pastel colors. The Yogibo Mate, which features an animal face on it, provides good stimulation for children and has a presence that makes you want to hug it.”

キッズデザイン賞は、「子どもたちが安全に暮らす」「子どもたちが感性や創造性豊かに育つ」「子ども を産み育てやすい社会をつくる」という目的を満たす、製品・サービス・空間・活動・研究の中から優れ た作品を選び、広く社会に発信していくことを目的に2007年に創設されました。 子ども用にデザインされたものはもちろん、大人・一般向けに開発されたものでも、子どもや子育てに配慮されたデザインであればすべてが対象です。

The 18th Kids Design Award
The Kids Design Award was established in 2007 with the aim of selecting and widely disseminating to society the best products, services, spaces, activities, and research that fulfill the objectives of “ensuring a safe life for children,” “enabling children to grow up with sensitivity and creativity,” and “creating a society in which it is easy to have and raise children.” Any design that takes children and child-rearing into consideration, including designs developed for adults and the general public, is eligible.
